NVQ Course needed:Level 2

To apply for a Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card, you will usually need to complete a construction-related Level 2 NVQ in your chosen trade or occupation. This proves that you have achieved the required level of occupational competence for your role. You will also need to pass the relevant CITB Health, Safety and Environment test. Once completed, you can apply for the Blue CSCS card, which shows employers and site managers that you are qualified, competent and able to work safely in your trade on a construction site.

A Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card is available to individuals who have completed a construction-related Level 2 NVQ in their specific trade or occupation. It is suitable for skilled workers such as bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, painters and decorators, dry liners, groundworkers, plant operatives and other recognised construction trades.
