A Level 4 Construction NVQ is a work-based qualification designed for experienced construction professionals who are moving into supervisory, technical, or management responsibilities on site. It is suitable for supervisors, assistant site managers, team leaders, chargehands, or skilled workers who are taking responsibility for planning work, managing teams, monitoring quality, and supporting health and safety on construction projects. A Level 4 NVQ can help demonstrate competence in a recognised qualification, support career progression, and may assist with applications for the appropriate CSCS card depending on the specific pathway completed. It can also lead into higher-level qualifications such as Level 5, Level 6, or Level 7 NVQs, as well as progression into site management, construction management, or specialist supervisory roles.
