NVQ courses are work-based qualifications designed to recognise the skills, knowledge, and competence people use in their job every day. At CJT Vocational Skills, we deliver construction-based NVQs that allow learners to gain a nationally recognised qualification while being assessed in their normal working environment. Our NVQs are suitable for experienced construction workers who want to formalise their skills, progress in their career, or meet industry and site requirements such as CSCS card applications.

Level 1 Qualifications

A Level 1 Construction NVQ is an introductory work-based qualification designed for individuals who are new to the construction industry or working in entry-level construction roles. It helps learners demonstrate basic practical skills, knowledge, and understanding of safe working practices on site. This qualification is suitable for labourers, new starters, apprentices, or anyone looking to begin a career in construction and gain formal recognition of their skills. It can also support progression onto higher-level construction NVQs as learners gain more experience in their chosen trade.
