The Level 1 Certificate in an Introduction to Construction (RQF) delivers precisely that, preparing learners or existing employees for a role in a construction workplace and covering the key topics necessary for their own development, as well as theirs and others safety.

  • Working in a group

  • Working towards goals

  • Interview preparation and interviews in the construction industry

  • Skills in painting, decorating, plumbing, basic electrical work, plastering, building maintenance, bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, creating products and home improvement

WHO REQUIRES THIS QUALIFICATION?

This qualification is aimed to prepare learners for employment or support a learner’s role in the workplace. It is designed to support learners to develop and progress their skills, either within a specialist function or across a variety of trades. This qualification can also prepare learners to progress to a higher-level construction-based qualification.
